PrettyLittleThing, the UK-based fast fashion retailer, has collaborated with reGAIN, which is UK’s first app for recycling unwanted clothes and textiles.
The intent behind this collaboration is to divert the unwanted clothes of the consumers from being thrown into landfills. The reGAIN app will help the users to unlock the discount codes by donating unwanted clothes at local pick-up points.
reGAIN has been providing sustainable stock exit solutions for renowned UK fashion retailers like Asos, John Lewis and Primark for over 12 years.
“By partnering with reGAIN, we encourage you to send back your used clothes for some amazing PrettyLittleThing discounts. Let us together make a difference to protect our planet.” – Umar Kamani, Co-founder, PrettyLittleThing
PrettyLittleThing recently submitted plans to transform an abandoned warehouse into a 65,000 square feet headquarters at Ancoats Works in Manchester.
Last year, Mary Creagh, Chair, Environmental Audit Committee, had written a letter to PrettyLittleThing, among other retailers, requesting to give information on staff wages, life cycle of clothes sold and also strategies of the company to minimise the social and environmental effect of their business.
